AARL has a monthly exercises the 3rd Wednesday each month at 17:30 UTC for testing and practicing.
Bob asked Keven to take care of the February meeting and do an IRLP presentation.
Bob showed two videos in an SDR radio presentation.
SDR stands for Software Defined Radio and is computerized. Bob showed is a poor man SDR.
The main thing SDR does is to show where everyone is on the bands. MFJ 1708 SDR cost $80.00, $90:00 or $100.00 depending on which model you buy.
We viewed the second video. It showed an SDR in operation.
Bob showed his MFD-SDR in operation.
