January Meeting January-7-2017
There will be an International DX convention in California April 21-23. If you are interested contact Keven for more information. Our Technician class will be held Feb. 4th from 8am-4pm. Eldon talked about getting ham operators from Garden City. He also talked about the radios at the hospital and the people who will help with them. Randy Shephard talked about fellowshipping other ham operators in the valley. He talked about making up a booklet with maps and other information to help hams learn to have fun on the radio. Garden City will host a Ham Fest in June of this year. The lesson was on being prepared in an emergency and what we need to be ready to do to help. We were told to be prepared with enough food, clothing and other necessities that we might need for at least 92hrs.
